The line-up

Nine games, three thumb taps each

Every one rests on a single idea you understand before the first round is over.

  • 1 to 6 · onlineUpper90

You shoot at goal. Every goal plants a glove in front of the net — for good. The more you score, the less room is left.

  • 1 to 6 · onlinePylon

Air racing from above. You're at full throttle by default: here, the skill is easing off.

  • 1 to 10 · onlineSteeple

Horse racing over jumps. Push too early and there's nothing left in the legs at the line.

  • 1 to 6 · onlinePitch

Boules by the real rules. Point, shoot, drop short — and the replacement shot if you've got the touch.

  • Solo · 30 coursesBank

A course where the wall isn't an obstacle, it's the route.

  • Solo · 29 KBOrbit

A shot into starlit emptiness. The planets don't block you — they bend the ball.

  • 2 players · one screenKickr

Table football from above. One bar for two players, each holding an edge of the phone.

  • 1 or 2 · onlineBlitz

Twenty seconds to place your regiments, then the battle. You have to reach the other general.

  • 2 to 6 · onlineMercato

A transfer window run as an auction with 97 real players. Five seconds without a bid and it's sold.

The idea

One phone, several hands

Most of these are played by several people around the same device. That was the starting point, and it shaped everything: rounds of about three minutes, controls that fit under one thumb, and no waiting your turn for a quarter of an hour.

Six of the nine also play online, with a room code, each person on their own device. Every device shows only its own buttons — you can't play for your neighbour.
